EGR DPF delete?

EGR DPF delete?
Looking into buying a rid a7 can the exhaust be easily changed to straight pipe? Does doing a egr and dpf delete affect the computer or sensors? Would it be a valuable modification? Any info helps thanks. They stopped requiring emissions in WA this year.

Literally your car would not be drivable. The computers would render the car underivable. Literally hundreds of messages from required sensors would be missing or wrong. A delete is totally useless on a car like this, what do you think you would really gain? Complete software changes would need to be installed by a company that has written a program for a delete. While that exists for diesel trucks and semis and construction equipment (while 100% illegal) nothing like this exists for your car.

There is a gulf of evolution that much of the US car industry missed out on. US cars made 20 years ago were about 10 years behind most European manufacturers at the time and that seems pretty much the same today. There is not much similar between a Dodge truck and any car virtually any European manufacturer produces so the same mods do not apply.

My buddy has a diesel truck that he had the diesel fluid delete done to and it runs perfectly fine. Better power and better fuel economy and no constant check engine light from the damned system. That being said, it is illegal to defeat emissions systems in the US regardless if your state does emissions testing or not.
