False impression of width
As you drive your A7, looking down the bonnet there are two raised creases- one on either side. You can't see to the side of the crease, which I believe gives you the false impression that the crease is the edge of the bonnet, whereas in fact there are several inches to the outside of the crease. This makes you think that the car is considerably narrower than it actually is - and could possible be dangerous. This is my experience - anyone else relate to what I'm saying?

Not to be a jerk here, but really, if you can drive you don't need to see the corners of your car. Many, many vehicles on the road today, and in the past, have this same issue. If you ever get a chance to drive a race car, you will surely find that you can't see much of the car you are driving. You just have to know where the corners are. Drivers of the current F1 cars can't even begin to see the front wings on their cars. Then again, they go through a lot of wings. :-)(
