Fuel injector problem

Don't panic! Gas will just evaporate, so as long as you air the garage out you are fine. The only thing that may remain is additives that are in the gas. If you follow the Audi recommendation and use 91 Octane gas you have no issue since that does not contain any ethanol like the lower grades.
Gaskets and other engine components are designed to be in contact with gasoline, they will not be harmed.
And be realistic. Your car has thousands of components and any one of those may fail. That is why you have a warranty. No company makes a car that never fails. Audi is actually extremely reliable in comparison to many of the others.
Get them fix it and enjoy the car, it is a superb vehicle. I should know, I have been driving a 2012 A7 for over 2 years with some minor repairs and no major complaints.

Very true Frank. It's just frustrating with the lack of service that I'm getting at the Audi repair shop. They said that the injector would be in today but it never arrived. I've asked for loaner but they don't have a loaner to give. They keep telling me they're going to call me back and I end up calling them back. So everything is just been a little frustrating. I'm hopeful that after this is over left I will be able to enjoy the ride. Thanks
Ask on this forum for the kind of experiences others had in your area and deal with a shop that gives satisfactory service. Audi will pay any authorized dealer for warranty services they perform, you are not stuck with one particular shop. Of course (not knowing where you are located) I am assuming that you have the luxury of having multiple authorized Audi repair facilities within a reasonable distance, like I do.
It is just amazing what a little competition does for customer service

The recall only applies to the 4.0 engine in the S6/S7.

It is obvious that you are not dealing with the right shop. My dealer (Audi Midtown Toronto) is just superb. They actually prefer to give me a loaner, rather than having me waiting for the car at the shop. And they do call when the part is in and arrange an appointment at my convenience. The car comes back clean, washed every time.

Day 7 and counting
Parts didn't arrive until today. Service rep called to say it would be done today. He called at 4:30 and said it was done. Finally got some service - they picked me up at my office. After arriving at service department, I had to sign some papers and the service rep escorted me to my car. After he shared what all they did to my car, he gave my key and thanked me for my business. Of course I was happy. I started my car, the engine light immediately came on and I could hear the car engine sputtering. Naturally I proceeded back into service center and told the service rep what was happening, He came out and checked the car. I could tell he was visibly disturbed by what he saw and heard. I demanded a loaner which they finally gave to me. Seven days and counting. Unbelievable.

Got the car back late last night. Everything seems to be fine other than the gas smell in the car. I drove it for a good bit and finally got everything working including the google maps, wifi, etc. The only thing I'm wrestling with now is getting the spoiler to rise at 80 mph. I've read in this forum where it actually rises at 85 mph (which I don't think I hit last night.) I read the manual and it says 80 mph, but nothing. I'll keep playing. Thanks to those for your comments, suggestions, and support. Looking forward to enjoying my Audi A7 for many years.

In the manual it's says the spoiler deploys at 80mph, but it's really around 84-85 mph. It's hard to see it through the rear view mirror unless you sit up in your seat. What I don't like about it is you can hit 85 and it deploys, but you need to decelerate down to around 54-55mph for it to retract. I haven't tried to manually bring it down at speed yet so I need to try that at some point. If I can do that that would be great. Highway driving you can go over 85 pretty easily, but then find yourself cruzing at 70-75 for a while and know the spoiler is out and not need it but for looks.

I am sorry to hear of your problems with your dealership I notice you said you were about an hour away from another Audi Dealer.
I have purchased a 2014 A7 and my next closest dealership is 1 hour away having said that I hope you are not in upstate New York?
