Ground clearance
Has anyone found the A7 ground clearance to be problematic in the winter? I live in downtown Chicago and work in sales; my territory is Northern IL and all of WI.
I had originally started looking at the Q5, but became very interested in the A7 when I learned about the excellent cargo space.
Given Chicago winters, where they don't plow alleys (my parking garage is off an alley), plus a fair amount of driving in WI, would the A7 be a poor choice due to it's low ride height?

I live in the suburbs of Chicago, and ground clearance this winter wasn't an issue for me, even on the few days where we got really bad snow. Quattro and a heavy A7 just kinda moved the snow out of the way to make room to snowblow.
If they don't plow the alleys at all I can see it becoming a problem if it starts to melt a bit and turn to ice, then you will have that scraping your bumper and underside of the car rather than just some snow.

I live in the City of Chicago (Lakeview) and never had any issues with any of our A7s (MY12, 15 and 19). I park in our garage off the alley and prior to a snow I'll park with the front facing out of the garage and never had any issues getting down the alley. In fact I actually looked forward to it after a snow and seeing all the FWD cars struggling

Thanks for the feedback. Another related question:
I've seen minimum ground clearance listed online at 4.4 inches for the 2016 A7. I also have read that the sport suspension package lowers ride height by almost an inch.
Is that 4.4 inch figure for the regular suspension, or the sport? I would think that the regular suspension figure would be the one listed, but that would mean that the sport takes it down to around 3.5 inches, which seems crazy low...
