Homelink programming error
Here's a fun one. Before I waste time with the dealer, has anyone ever seen the following error when attempting to program Homelink for garage door opening?
The selected system is currently not available.
Every time I go into the "Garage Door" section in the MMI, I get this message. The Garage Door setting then grays out until I turn the car off and turn it back on.
Anyone know how to fix it?

I'm reviving this thread as I too have the same problem. Just got a 2012 A6 and it's doing exactly what you say. Someone help?!?!

This thread is three years old and the question has never been answered......so have fun at the dealership. They have free coffee and plenty of space to sit and work at all the Audi dealers I've been to!

I have the same problem with Audi A7 2013. One day i just could not open the gates. The Homelink buttons do not respond and led light is not showing any signs when clicking the buttons.
Restarting MMI did not help.
Started engine without "break pedal" (accessories mode).
Anyone knows how to solve this?
Maybe check the fuses?
