Huge Potholes

Well - not as bad as the SUV in this picture - but one of my A7 ContiProContacts was the victim of a Boston pothole. Watch out they are everywhere.

I downsized to 18" rims and snows this year from the 19" Sport rims and Conti ProContacs. Think I'll keep them on for a bit...at least for some pothole repairs.

Dealer wants $506 + tax for tire and alignment!

Expensive pothole.

Does this price sound reasonable?

It sounds roughly right to me.

Tire rack tire shipped- $340
Mount and balance- $25
Alignment- $140

Make sure the wheel is not bent. I had a similar situation last year, cost me an additional $125 to get the wheel straightened.
