iPod Classic and Music interface

Have you guys had any luck? Mine gets detected and works for a second and then stops working.

Mine will work, but I can not get the artist or album view to always work. It comes up with a bunch of "unknown folders". Not sure what the issue is.

Thats happens sometimes, just try again, it may take a while because the MMI trys to download media, just leave it connected for a while, truxt me, it works. just nake sure you have either the blue grommet cable or the red if you have a newer Audi with a software version higher than PO409.

Album art is only available with the RED Grommet ipod Cable and a software version higher than PO409.

Understand about the album art...but that is not what I was referring to. I can not see the album text...comes up unknown folder. Sometimes it works, but after 10 minutes or more, it reverts back to unknown folder.

red grommet cable is not capatible with the new classic ipod. tried it, doesn't even play the music. works with the ipod touch and phone, though. if you look at the list of compatible devices, the most recent classic is not on it. go figure!
