Definitely going with the Prestige and 20" wheels/sport package. Can't decide on color combo. My Bimmer is space grey on creme beige (many mods) w/ M3 carbon leather black trim...so I want a different color combo.
Is this forum the largest a7 community so far? I look forward to reading the threads, learning about the a7 mods, and seeing some sweet pics.

You have good taste. I think the 335i coupe is the best looking of all the BMWs and I almost got one last year but my wife wanted the "softer" MB C350 for her ride. Have you thought of Dinan tuning for your 335?

Does Audi match BMW in terms of service? I am now thinking Quartz Gray, Prestige, 20" Sport Package, Black interior with either Natural wood trim or aluminum. It's funny, that I see cars with black/aluminum trim, but aluminum trim is not even an Audi option on the website or my dealers order list. What gives?

RoHo,
Nice car!! I am assuming you took those pictures right after a detail. But if you always keep it in that condition, I am even more impressed!
I think the 335 is the best car BMW makes, other than the M3. Once they went for the new styling a few years back, I lost the love for the brand. But having driven the aesthetically improved 5 series recently, I am also wondering why they have been killing the road feel and steering feel in the 5 series. Do you have any insight?

Thanks for the kind words... it always looks like that (truly!)...not bad for 5 years old. Zaino products rock... I only wash my car 5 times per year (polish/wax twice per), because every 2nd day I spray it down with Zaino Z6, then Zaino Grand finale. I do wash the wheels once per week and wipe them down 3 times per week... I was at my local Audi dealership this past Saturday and 3 different people and 2 SA's asked if that was a 2012. LOL.
Regarding 5 series steering...well, that is why I am looking at the A7. If I can't get my 335i steering feel in the new 5, might as well go for an Audi A7 which is much sexier.
Being an active BMW enthusiast and active Bimmerpost member... BMW is trying to appeal to the masses... increase market share (via Lexus, Mercedes, Audi) by making steering lighter (older crowd who want comfort and luxury)...devoted hardcore enthusiast are very upset...but there are solutions other than the upcoming M5.
1. BMW has really done a great job on the new x-drive. This actually retains the Hydraulic steering system while the non x-drive 5's have a new electric steering.
2. In addition to x-drive/hydraulic steering, you now have to add the dynamic handling package (included in M-Sport) and adjust throttle/dampers/steering response.
3. Wait for 2012... I won't be surprised if they introduce a software fix for the 2012 Sept MY production or 2012 March MY production (most likely March as they seem to make many updates in the March MY).
Cheers.
RH
