missing headlight washer

I was checking things out for me 5000 service appointment and discovered my headlight washers did not work. I reported it to the service advisor and was told that cars with LED headlights don't have washers. Does anyone know if that's correct? Why would you not need headlight washers if you have LED headlights?

Correct no washers. Don't know why.

U.S. A8 with LED's have washers. They're very high pressure and effective.

Well, I certainly feel cheated now. It seems like a lot of features were excluded from US based cars.

* Headlight washers
* Third seat in the back
* Comfort seats
* Lane assist
* and more...

Some euro models even steer by themselves under 45mph!!
