? on noise

Fairly new to the Audi world but I have a question on a noise the car makes when letting up on the gas at slower speeds. It seams to make a growling noise when you let up on the gas and was wondering if its normal and if it the drivetrain making the noise or something else? Thanks

I have heard that the newer CREC motors make a supercharger clutch noise letting off the gas. Not sure if that is what you have happening

Noise

Found out the noise was a flex joint in the exhaust. It had a tear in it and they wanted like $2400 to fix it. Took it to exhaust shop and had it fixed for $150.

I could not image how they can come up with $2400 to replace a downpipe unless they were going to replace both and even then . . . . . .

2 new flex pipes aka downpipes are about $400 each from the dealer.
