Ordered A7 in London
HI All,
new to the audi world website and already read all the threads on the A7. interesting read :-)
I just placed an order end of august and because its a factory build the dealer is saying an anticipated delivery date sometime in november. Reading all the threads it seems too optimistic. Anyone has an idea what the lead times in europe are like? they still don't have a commission no.
Also i have gone 4 the 5 seats options instead of 4, but have not seen any pics yet. anyone?
spec i ordered was as:-
ibis white
3 ltr tdi multitronic (did not wanna shell out on s tronic, was short of cash
20 inches 5 spoke
black piano inlays
privacy glass
ambient lighting
tech pack

Lead time seems right for Europe, mine took less than 10 weeks but I ordered very early.
Most posters here are in the US, and their cars are batch built. Mind you, I would have thought the same for the UK, given RHD and packaged options. Some colours seem to be suffering delays due to supplier problems, but not Ibis.
Whichever way, it will be seeming like a long wait to you now, but the wait is worth it.
