Default Quartz Gray

Thinking about getting quartz gray but haven't seen it on an A7. Dealer just had it on an A8 and really dug it..shows the lines off beautifully. Does anybody here have one? if so, would love your feedback and any pix. thanks!

Kandyman,
I took delivery of my quartz grey A7 Prestige (Nougat Brown interior, fine ash wood grain) last Thursday, and I am in love with the color.
I see a lot of others on this forum with mostly whites and blacks - but from the moment i saw it in real life I knew quartz grey is a truly stunning color - it looks fab in both cloudy and sunny conditions, and really does show off the lines of the car, not to mention how well it looks against the led lights on the front and back (red).

Don't be mislead by the quartz grey on the audi configuration tool (on the website) ... its much more of a blue hue than the grey shown there. There is also an IPad application for A7 where you can build an A7 but again i don't believe its a good match.

I have attached 2 photos so you can see in sunlight and in shade.

You won't regret it if you chose this color, trust me.

Best

Head on over to here to see more pics I am after uploading: https://www.audiworld.com/forums/sho...1#post24208858

I am very happy with the Nougat + Ash - I have had Audis before with the standard black interior and, being honest, the nougat just feels more classy. Its not as light brown as I had originally thought, which is good. It also goes well with the quartz grey exterior.
Don't even consider anything but the fine ash - it really looks and feels fantastic.

ok thanks..I really appreciate it. I'm in SF too...very curious, do you find it hard to find parking because of its length? I have a garage spot at home but I'm always using my car around town.

I plan to bring it into town as little as possible. Seriously. My last car was a Range Rover and I was plagued by people dinging the bumper and scraching the sides while trying to park near it.
unless where I am going has valet parking or a proper garage, then I will taxi.
OTherwise I am just worried when I am out.

I haven't seen Quartz Gray on an A7, but I think it's a great a color (see my signature). It was discontinued for the 2012 A4/S4 and A5/S5 due to a supplier being impacted by the Japanese tsunami, but it must still be available for the high-end, low volume models.
