Default Rear spoiler

Hello!

I have a question regarding the rear spoiler, if you put it on manually by the button. Does it stay up even if you go below the speed where it usually automatically go down? If I park the car, does it go down? If it goes down, does it automatically go up when I start the car or do I have the press the button again if I want it up on start?

Is their any VCDS that can edit the way the spoiler behaves?

Thanks in advance!

I just recently got my A7 running less than a month ago so I could be wrong on some of this stuff.

For me, (1) if it is in the down position, it'll automatically come up when I hit around 85, down when I hit 55. (2) When I manually put it up and don't hit the 85 range it'll automatically go down the next time I start the car or I manually put it down. (3) I manually put it up, go above 85, it'll automatically go down at around 55.

If you had it up by pressing the button, it will go down when you turn the engine off and will not go up automatically when you start the car next time.

There is a setting where you can adjust at what speed it goes up or down while driving.

My 2012 spoiler stays up with the engine off. I did it many times for shows last year.

It's a safety feature in order not to have a kid or a random idiot crushing their fingers retracting the spoiler while the car is stopped. That's why you need to go at least 10 mhp to retact it manually.

I beg to disagree. There isn't any settings in the MMI or VCDS that you can adjust at what speed the spoiler goes up/down.

People have been trying to find this setting to adjust via VCDS, to this date no one has found it yet.

Actually someone did it for me on my 2012 A7 TFSI, so the spoiler opened up at a lower speed.

So at what speed does your spoiler deployed now?

You didn't happen to write down the VCDS code to adjust?

Hope the person who adjusted your setting is on this forum and could share with us the info on how to adjust speed in which the spoiler deploys.
