Spiders in the headlamp!!
A few months back we picked up a new A7 with the LED headlight option. Today when giving it a wash I noticed that there were several spiders one alive and a few dead ones as well as several white white spider nests inside the assembly in various different spots. I was pretty surprised to see this as I've never seen anything like that in all my years.
I am positive these are sealed units aren't they? Going to point it out at the next service just thought I would throw it out there as I found it interesting. I don't think these units can be taken apart and resealed can they?
Weird

Can you take some photos of the spiders? The headlight most likely will be replaced. If spiders got into the headlamps, I am pretty sure they also got into some other areas of the car....

There are small vents in the headlights to prevent the lens from popping off when they heat up. The vent nipple might have a short rubber hose that points down.
I doubt that the service department will replace any part due to insects.
The headlights and tail lights can be taken apart and resealed. Some are easier than others depending on the adhesive/sealant. I wouldn't advise a first timer to attempt it on an expensive Audi LED headlight.
Metallic force has a Audi LED light left over from a collision. He said he wanted to open it up but I don't know how it going.
