Hi i have these codes on the new steering module
B200049 Faulty Control ModuleC10AD29 Motor Position Sensor- Range/PerformanceC10C929 Steering Angle Value-Range/Performance
The steering rack is under warranty from a company based in Bristol called western power steering, i been trying for them to get the right coded module as the old one had wrong coding possibly, i had red steering light, traction control, tpms and tyre pressure warning on but the steering rack worked fine no stiff steering , the new module that got fitted has only the red steering light on but says faulty module but all the other lights are gone. Does it need to be Reflashed in order to work properly as when entering into the live data we can see that the steering angle sensor is working and there is voltage coming to the module Reason for asking as i want to get it coded independently and sent the invoice to the company to claim back.Rather then chasing them up as its been almost 7 months
Just to test we got the old Module back in and it came out with same codes, the mechanical malfunction was already there when the rack was installed,.
