Tilt on Reverse Setting ?

Default Tilt on Reverse Setting ?
Anyone know if there is something in the VAG settings to tilt mirrors on reverse and revert back to prior position on park or drive? I would think it would be.

I dont think its a VAG setting, only the right mirror tilts down when in reverse and back up to normal, for that to happen you need to turn the mirror settings **** to the right and leave it in that position, not the center position...

I was hoping it would be both for when backing into tight parking spots. Technically it should be possible but if the computer isn't coded for it unless someone like Kufatec happened to have a module I guess that option is a no go.

Now if you're telling me all I have to do is leave my mirror **** to the right and it will work for that one mirror that's half way there and good for curb parking. I'll have to try it and see if it works on mine. Thanks !

A7 should certainly have that as a standard feature. Our A6 does and I've programmed my A4 to enable it.

"Programmed" your A4? So there is something in the VAG or elsewhere?

That's all you have to do. A7 standard feature.

Also you must adjust the passenger mirror position with the **** once in the right hand position in reverse.

In my previous Mercedes it only works on passenger side mirror and I am not aware a car tilts both mirrors on reverse.

Yes, I enabled the function on my '11 A4 using VAGCOM.

My wife's Genesis tilts both mirrors when in reverse.
