Timing Chain on A7
Afternoon
Just been told I need a new timing chain on my A7 151 ... Audi have said this is going to cost €7,486.00 - 700hrs Labour... Does this sound about right ? 2nd option needed ?

The real questions are when was your car built, and how many miles? Audi upgraded the chain tensioners in late 2015, There is a TSB for it if your car has the old tensioners.

And the price sounds a little high if you're not covered. I think they have to drop the engine to get to them as they are at the back of the engine, but most people aren't reporting that many hours for labor.
