I had a 2007 A8 with sport package, I was very surprised that there was no governor at 130. on a long desert highway it easily hit 145 and was still pulling. I did not test it to see if it had a governor at 155 but I am sure it did. Matching tire rating to governor? I have not had a chance to test my A7 20" sport package. you really need to be in no man's land or on a track to test.
