used A7, advice needed
thanks
mike
There is a lot of difference between Premium and Prestige variants, my friend has a 2017 Q5 Premium and It is not even remotely close to the features that (ACC, Night Vision, Pre sense plus, B&O, heated and ventilated seats etc..) I have in my 6 year old car. Even, the minor things like auto dimming rear view mirror, heated mirrors, or acoustic windshield (for noise reduction), no engine shut off in traffic saving fuel, nothing. It is just a boxy car with Audi rings.
TL;DR: Don't buy something just because it is Audi, look for the features it have and you need. You don't want someone climb into your car and say, my Toyota Prius has more features than your Audi.
That being said, 3.0 T is a very reliable engine per everyone and you didn't mention the price or the feature list. If the price is right, its okay to not have some features but that is Audi A7 we're talking about, so, it should have at least some in my opinion.
Premium supposed to be the most basic trim (usually comes with Premium Plus), so if you don't mind having less of interior features, then it's fine. But, if you prefer to have a better experience, you might want to understand how much you might have missed.
I did extensive search for A7 before - if you could share inside pictures, I could tell you more of the features...
from the 2 pic posted, it doesn't have fog light, no ACC, no night vision, no black optic). it looks like it has the 19in wheel package
Keep in mind, service costs and parts are expensive. If you can do your own belt changes, oil changes and brake pads/rotors, you'll save yourself a ton.

24K may be steep but other A7 owners can chip in if this is the norm.
I got my 2013 A6 Prestige, 60K miles with B&O, ACC, Night Vision, Pre sense, 360 camera with 6 different modes(top view, front & rear corner view, etc.) plus along with other above mentioned standard features for 21K. I use 360 degree view and ACC all the time in Seattle because of heavy traffic and tighter parking spots.
I'd suggest look at a fully loaded car and then make a decision of what all you need and what you don't.
Typical used car markup in my area is $6000 for big dealer, or $2-4000 for smaller dealer, then slowly decreases over a period of 4-6months. Afterwards, either sold or back to auction.
You could plug in data to kbb, and compare "my car (trade in) value" vs "used car value". KBB is kind of... "rigged" but at least give you some data to begin with.
As with your car's options, your first pic is an R8... Otherwise, from your pictures, your in car options are:
cold weather, 20in wheel package, driver assist (if it has ACC) OR just the standalone audi side assist + pre sense+
So, you should check whether it has LED package, is it really 20in, and maybe check if it has the rear airbag package.
Options that are available in 2013, but NOT on the car are: innovation package, comfort seating, B&O, carbon/oak inlay
Best way is when you test drive, take a picture of the user manual that has a sticker, or the sticker in the trunk, near spare tire area.
The sticker should have all those 3-digit codes that represents the spec and options of the car.
@ramaraju I am in Seattle area too! By any chance if you have a Obdeleven?

i'm in no hurry so no rush to judgement here, to me the documented service intervals is at least 75% of the decision.
thanks again for all the great assistance.
one other question, what is night vision?

Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
Are you trading that in?If you have the VCDS cable/tool, you could quickly pull the current status of the car. I was cross shopping A7/S7, and found the S7 has engine mount issue and avoided it.
Night vision assistant is the car equips an additional night vision camera and shows/highlight human object in your dash screen.
You could see a quick video here:
I believe earlier version could only detect human object, and later version could also detect animal? not sure on this.
I have it on my S8 and didn't find it that useful as it'll take your attention off the road. I found it more of a gimmick, but other users might find it useful in other situation.
the more I’ve been looking the more I’m liking the 5’s, 6’s and 7’s. I getting more confused everyday 🤣🤣
