Likely bad balancig job or poor set of tires. What tires did you get and did you do Hunter Road Force balancing? Its a must to get that glass smooth factory like ride when replacing tires on these cars. I never ever do regular balancing with my tires or rims. I also stick with higher quality brands like Michelins, Bridgestone etc which have better tire quality that are more round and tighter tolerance to avoid out of roud tires that can cause slightest vibraitons on these cars with low profile tires and big rims.

My A7 is glass smooth when I do this type of balancing or else I will get vibraiton in the seat or steering wheel at highway speed which is extremely annoying. I am running 275/35R20 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S on my 20 inch rims for summer and a separate winter set with Blizzak WS90 size 245/45R19 on 19 inch rims. No issues with both.

I have the same issue and it started after I hit a large pothole. The dealership said they couldn't find anything wrong. I've had the front end checked and run Michelin tires. I could actually hear a sound associated with this that has started to get a little worse lately. I'm surprised to see that some Mr. Tires have the Roadforce balance elite. Do you have to specifically ask for this to be done or do they do it to every car?

Hi you must specifically tell them to do it , it's a premium over regular balancing and cost 150 to 200 dollars for all 4 wheels and tires and takes a little longer to do then regular balancing. You also need to make sure then match the tire and wheel and get road force in single digits and not greater than 10 lbs or it will cause vibration. Also many techs at these chain tire stores aren't very skilled at using these elite machine and it's baffling but you need to ask for the senior tech or most experienced one. I go to an independent Euro shop and the tech there is suberb he knows the ins and outs of road force balancing. Dealerships aren't the best for road force in my experience.

Could also be a bent wheel. Had that issue with my A5.
