Wheel Sizing question

Did some searching but couldnt find an answer. just got a 2012 a7 and looking at getting winter tires since i have 20" with the summer tires. i have found a good deal on some BBS CS5 rims but not sure if the sizing will work on the car. the size is on the BBS rims is 225/45-18. Thanks for the help!

Here's a link to a calculator that will allow you to compare two wheel and tire combinations. I used it to pick my own winter wheels and tires and it worked fine.

+1 This is the same calculator I used as well. The other reference you'll need are the offsets, as they vary a bit by wheel size. I think you'll find them buried in the manual, or you can just call the dealer.

looking into some other rims, does anyone have the measurement handy of the distance from the top of the caliper to the bottom of the rotor on our brake setup?

does the a7 have the same brake setup across premium/premium plus/prestige?
