Just noticed my light bar on the back of the car has a film that has been peeling off. I called my local Audi dealer (different from the one I purchased the car from), who automatically stated this isn't something that would be covered under warranty (without even looking at the car/pictures). Any one else have similar issues?

I just washed the car and don’t see this issue - yet. Not sure if it’s a contributing factor, but our car spends no time in the sun. It’s home garage to work garage.
I assume you you tried to scrap it and it’s not a wax/sealant residue.

Yep, not wax/sealant residue. Literally like a layer. Will take it to dealer in like two weeks and see. My car does spend about 8-10 hrs in sun.
