what is the typical discount?

My order (see below) was placed January 3rd. I was told Audi Corporate was directing the dealerships to offer a 6% discount (across the board on vehicle, packages and accessories; not destination fee nor dealer prep, I think tho as I don't have my receipt as I type this) as standard at the time. YMMV...

Plan to pull the trigger in August/September, when the 2020s are in. Hopefully the discount on 2019s gets to around 15%.
I saw only 2 2019s on the road since November. They really don’t sell well compared to the Q8.

I leased my 2019 A7 today (4/15/19 despite the jolt of tax day). I had to go outside of my region (D.C.) to Atlanta to get the car I wanted. The minimum requirements I wanted were: Premium+, Triton Blue, any interior color other than Pearl Beige, and 20” wheels. Over the last month this was proving to be difficult for the D.C. area dealers. Atlanta worked for me as my son lives there. I was planning a trip to see him in April which coincided with the Audi $3,000 rebate this month for BMW owners. The car I ended up with has black interior and also came with the Cold and Warm weather packages. They actually got the car from a dealer in New Orleans and secured it within 36 hours. Shipped to Atlanta for no charge.
In addition to the rebate, I got 6% discount off of MSRP for ACNA members, which I joined last week. Not a single dealer pushed back on the 6% and I probably could have played for more, but I wasn’t looking to beat these guys up. Essentially, I gave my price, and put it on them to find the car I was looking for.

One other thing on my previous discount message:
i received my ACNA materials in the mail today, after enrolling about 10 days ago. Detailed information in the package regarding the 6% MSRP discount for members indicated that you must be a member for six months before being eligible. I was not aware of this when I conveyed to dealers that as a ACNA member I was expecting the discount. Only one of about 6 I spoke with mentioned that there was a 6 month period before eligibility but he extended the discount anyway. Every other dealer also said they would honor it, without a single bit of push back.

what about for a 2017 A7?
What would you expect the discount to be a last year in-service A7?
Also, what issues might occur if a car has been sitting for 14-15 months and has no km on it? What should I look for and watch for in the first year?
