4 cylinder misfires in 5 minutes, need some help
P0300-P0304 , P1423, P1411 also when you start to drive the check engine light starts to blink, i cleared the codes and rescanned it and the P0300-04 came on?
Where should i start looking first? Sparkplugs, coils?
Need to know what year car and motor. The ignition system changed from 2000 on.
I'm guessing that it's 99 or before and there's a problem with the "power output stage" that sends fire signal to coils 1-4 on bank 1 (passengers side).
If so, I'd at least check for good connections or even switch with other one (for bank 2...mounted under #1, same side) to determine if it's that part failing.
I'd look elsewhere, as A8CT suggested, even possibly fuel pump(?)..the fuel rail on that side may have just lost pressure first(?).
No other theory yet, since no other codes.
Your other 2 codes were for an emmissions system (aux air inj) that should not cause such a symptom. Critical codes (like misfires) trigger instantly...all other codes take 2-3 driving cycles to trip again.
Have you restarted the car and gotten the same misfires? Maybe try adding just a gallon (or even a little less) of gas to the tank...this will temporarily reprime the pump...and start again. If it runs smooth at first then returns to misfires, it might tell you "pump"...not THE definitive test, but sometimes indicates a pump that has not totally failed yet.
Also look for obvious wiring problems on the passengers side of engine, plus hoses, etc on that side. Outside chance of wiring from ECM or even moisture in the ECM...inside of box in the fresh air plenum under the hood on passenger's side.
