A8L trade-in
My wife is really considering trading her 2001 pearlescent white all options, 5 spoke sport etc... whith the valcona interior. Any ways to the chase, she wants to trade it in for a all black 2002 allroad that they are saying $50k for and thats about a 1 on 1 trade with the 2001 A8L(kellybluebook). What do you ppl think we should do?

I would almost bet the trade-in figure on your car would be $44000. I am not saying that is all it is worth but I would be surprised if they gave you any more than that on trade. I may be wrong. Let us know.

Dont' trade. Sell it on autotrader or Ebay, get the extra $$ and buy the Allroad like that.
FYI if you go for the AllRoad, get a color that doesn't clash with the bottom moldings, which are like a Dolphin Grey. I've seen Allroads in a good color to combine with that unchangeable bottom cladding color, but most I've seen just look wrong. Why do they do that (ala Benz in the early 90s)? Ugly in some colors!!!
