ABS problem

ABS problem
Was having the typical A8 ABS noise followed by the brake, and abs lights coming on for the past few months. Today decided to pull the left front ABS sensor to clean it. The sensor must have been fused in there, because I broke it right off. Now what do I do? Can't even get the rest of the sensor out. I remember reading in a past post that someone pulled the fuse for the ABS, and just drove around without it. Which fuse? There are three to choose from. Two in the right footwell, and one in the trunk. Just want to pull the fuse as a temporary fix until I figure out what I am going to do. Thanks!

Thanks Paul. I can't remember who posted the thread about pulling the fuses, but if you can give me any suggestions I'd appreciate it. The owners manual lists two fuses in the front footwell in the blue fuse carrier. Fuse # 9 is the "ABS control unit, terminal 30", and fuse # 10 is "ABS control unit, terminal 15". In the luggage compartment, fuses 1B, and 3A are "Anti-lock braking system". The cheapest ABS sensor I can find is $170 at "the parts bin" is there somewhere less expensive. Thanks again.

There are multiple power supplies

ST4 (blue), fuse S9, 5A (I would start with this one)
ST4 (blue), fuse S10, 10A
ST3 (yellow), fuse S1, 15A (powers ABS light and a lot of other stuff too)
ST2 (red), fuse S9, 10A (powers brake light switch, don't undo this one)
Luggage boot right, S53, ABS hydraulic pump
S54, ABS valves
Probably don't need to undo either of these in the trunk, you just want to undo the control above....I might try ST4, S9.
