Allways learn something.

So looks like Mobil 1 is not the answer for hunting. I mean it is not worse, it is the same. The fluid is much cheaper. I still don't believe that Mobil 1 ATF can damage the tranny. All we hear is it might 50miles or 100K miles later. No one ever reported damage. We have people on this forum who has switched long time ago and they are still happy. I think in the long run it will be better because it will collect the dirt in the filter not all over the tranny. Check out my 97' valve body 1000 miles after a tranny flush. Look how much mud it had inside!

What do you think is the mud?

Do you think it's deposits that the Mobil 1 is cleaning out, or do you think it's clutch plate wear?

What else could it be?

I took this picture last year when I found the cracked block on the valve body.

This is what we get after 100K miles. You can't flush this out.
