Default chances are?

I have located a left fender, front and rear driver door as donor parts for my 1998 A8, which are located local to me. The salvage yard will deliver them to the collision shop early this week. The donor vehicle is a 1997 A8 which has been sitting in a salvage yard for 5+ yrs, in Michigan with all kinds of weather. The body panels look good, not even any bad scratches. The doors have the double glass whereas my 1998 has single. I don't see that as a problem. However, what are the chances the window motors, remote locking, master window switch for all doors nd other mish electronics in the door will work?

Along this line, the only item I am missing is the front left fender marker/turn signal light. Does anyone know of a parts car sitting around with this light?

Not bad, the weather sealing is pretty good on the A8's electronics. If your installer is handy and looking at the window regulator you might have him swap out the crappy nylon upper roller with a metal sliding glass door roller. Probably not worth it if the door card is not coming off, although aligning the windowframe is a bit of a chore and odds are it'll need to be done.

Some installers only align the door rather than aligning the door and the windowframe both, which results in rubbing and/or a misaligned door.
