check engine light on, need some help with codes
My check engine light came on about 3 days ago, i had the engine codes pulled with an OBD-II tool. It returned that pistons 1-4 were miss firing. I had all of the spark plugs replaced and the codes reset. about 5 minutes later the light came back on and now the code from the engine is "P1340 manfacurer control. ignition system or misfire" i tried looking up this error but came up with nothing. anyone know what the cause of this error might be?

also look at your knock sensors
Though the code you give is not on my list all the codes around that are talking about knock sensors so probably a good place to start.
It may be a fault with the ECU in the knock control

Thank you guys for the quick replies. I looked in the searches for the code but everything i found was about TT's or BMWs. I had the dealer look up the code for me too, they returned: "crank shaft position sensor out of sequence". They said they had no idea what the cause of the error might be with out looking at the car. Anyone know anything about this? Could this have anything to do with the spark plugs being changed? Any help is welcome. thanks in advance.
