Coolant type issues?
Hi all. New to the forum, new to Audi. What is the specified coolant for the A8/D2 series? Could there be issues if regular ethylene glycol (green) coolant is used?
I just had my coolant back-flushed by an independent shop BEFORE researching coolant types and now I am concerned. They did a power back flush, but to be honest, I don't know if they used new coolant or just recirculated my old coolant. I also have no idea what was in there before either.

Green coolant is fine, just replace it more often than current-spec G13. One of my cars has green stuff in it, all of my Porsches run it. No problems if you do not let it get too old. It's easy to test and refresh the green stuff also.

When should you flush the coolant? Audi says the coolant is permanent type and that there is no need
