Electrical Question
I want to hard wire install my Valentine One radar detector. I need 11-16V and figure I can steal it off of something in the panel that has the sunroof dial on it. Does anyone know how to get inside of this? I was able to remove the plastic lens for the interior lights but couldn't get access to the rest of the panel. I would appreciate any advice on doing a radar detector installation.
By the way, the Valentine is a phenominal product. My previous unit was a Solo which I had used faithfully for several years. The performance of the Valentine is far superior.

Never mind...it's really quite obvious
had I not been working in a dark driveway. Just remove the lens, then take out two screws and the whole panel drops down. About one hour to dress the wires nicely and patch them in.
No more tacky wire dropping down to the cig lighter!
