engine swap?
picked up a 2000 A8 off ebay with advertised bad engine, planned on swapping an engine out of my parts car. Found symptoms of stuck thermostat and oil cooler leak into coolant system. starts and runs good so have decided to do TB along with oil cooler and tstat ect. has anyone ever had an oil cooler problem along with tstat at the same time? Would the oil sludge in the coolant shut down the water pump?
