guys, what can make a sound like a bad power steering pump?

Default A bad constant knocking rattle when turning the wheel...
My fluid had run down due to a leaky rear suspension pipe (it's a Euro spec car with uprated suspension). Check the fluid first (behind coolant tank), then look for leaks on your driveway. My pump has lasted 110k miles and is still fine...

took all but 30 min including clean up.

Default What about steering wheel shake?
Lets say you are 95% sure your rotors and wheels are balanced and you still experience a intermittent shake in the wheel at certain speeds.

Is that power steering pump (or rack) related? Servotronic?

BTW, I'm going to flush mine when it gets back from the shop for a new fuel sender $$$$$$$$

Default the fluid was changed 2 months ago. and its not the PS pump
its just making a similar sound

Default that does happen from time to time, but Im pretty sure this isnt the pump.
I started hearing the noise last night half way home on a 1.5 hr trip. I dont know if it was the 9 degree temp or what but theres no loss or change in steering and the fluid looks Okay.
