Lumbar problem
Hi all.
I've seen this posted before:

and now find myself in need of the repair procedure for my 01 S8. Anyone know it? My lumbar in both fronts is out - rear works fine wouldn't you know it? - it inflates but deflates again quickly.
I appreciate any feedback.

Hmm...
My controls all seem to work - the lumbar just deflates quickly. Are you sure this is the correct fix?
I do really appreciate the feedback. I'll review this more closely and see if I can pull anything out about my specific issue.

Re: Deflates? sounds odd as it is mechanical not a bag inflating
Really? Guess I need to pull out the Bentley. I can tell you that it does firm up and I can hear the motor running, but within a minute of getting to the setting I want it is gone.
Also - I have sport seats - so the procedure shown doesn't seem to work.

This is what I expected, but I'm told by the dealer this is not covered under CPO. Can you tell me, specifically, what was done to fix your issue(ideally including part numbers)? If I can point out the pieces and parts maybe I can get this done under CPO - which is what I was hoping for all along!

Also involved 2 1/2 hour labor removing and disassembling seat
This is right from my invoice showing N/C ecept for $50 deductible. This was for one seat only.
