Radio code

pull radio and check for stickers-some people write it on-duh and also
check your handbook as some people write it in there or the service log.
Or ring dealership that has had the car in the past and they will have it on old scans

2nd that
My radio code was in the book AND on the radio chassis.
Why did I buy those radio extraction tools instead of looking in the glove box literature?
Jeeshe! this life is not so hard.

Re: I'm pretty sure it's a "dealer only" solution, sorry
All; thanks for the feedback. Checked all my documents first - not there. It was on a sheet that I apparently no longer have. Going to take it to my local mechanic, but he says Audi is notorious for not cooperating (unlike Mercedes and BMW).

Tony is right. They changed their computer system so you have to actually plug your car into...
the dealers system, ping the server in Germany and get the code. it will cost you 1 hour labor. BS if you ask me. I had to do the same thing when my battery went dead.
