Remote coding - Vag-com
Hello,
I am trying to recode the functions on my remote for my 2000 A8L. From Audipages.com I got the page that shows the options available for coding but i am not sure how to use my vag-com to do this coding. Up till now i have only used my vag-com to truble shoot various fault codes on my Audi's and have never modified anything. I am sure there are some threads that would walk me through the process but i haven't found them. Any help would be great.

Using the chart, just add or subtract numbers from your existing coding
I.E. if it's a 2, 4, 8, 16, 32 number function, just add that amount to the code.
If you wanted to change the function located at the 4 and 32, you would add 36 to your existing coding.
Just make sure you write down your initial coding so you can revert back to it if you screw up.
