Rust on A8??

Rust on A8??
Has anyone experienced rust on an A8?? My A8 (built in 2000) seems to have a rust bubble around the front window (on the A style). I can't believe it as one says that the A8 doesn't rust. However, I know how rust bubbles look like and this looks the same. My front window has been replaced three times or so during the years. That may have something to do with it. Has anyone experienced the same?

I meant the windshield. The windshield has been replaced three times (over the last three years) at my Audi dealer, as it was damaged by small stones. Indeed, the bubble is situated on the A pillar.
I will ask my Audi dealer (in the Netherlands) anyway, but thought you might have ideas what this could be. It looks exactly the same as a rust bubble. I will let you know what my dealer says about it; perhaps it is only cracking finish/paint.

I don't think it was repainted at this place (at the top of the A pillar), at least not during the years during which I have owned the car (nearly three years), I don't think the former owner repainted it at this place either. It is not a common place for a repainting job. Oil contamination on the surface or in the spray may cause a bubble, but this bubble has appeared only this week. It has never been there, I'm sure of that. Let's see what my Audi dealer says about it.

I had a problem with corrosion on my A8, an A8 cant rust as such as it is aluminium but it can corrode. If the aluminium becomes exposed it will develop a white powder on the surface of the metal, this is the corrosion. It can lift paint off in the same way rust does.
Mine was a big problem and concerned almost all of the car, my paint expert found 20 seperate places on the car that had some corrosion. In my case Audi repaired including replacing some pannels which cost them around £8000, but its good as new now.

It looks like my car has the same problem as yours, although only at one spot. I have now called my Dutch Audi dealer and he confirmed that he'll find a satisfactory solution :-)
