S8 security code options and codes?

S8 security code options and codes?

VAG-COM was used to change the A8 security codes on a '98 A once upon a time. Now how can I change these codes on the '01 S and are they still 5 digit numbers like 16204 from chart. Still same chart?

Gabor and myself recoded my car the other day.....we used the chart and based on the as-found coding, just added the numbers to the base coding to get what I wanted.

Got auto lock at 15 MPH, horn honk, one touch lock/unlock and windows up/down with the remote.

Since you don't have any of these now, try adding the numbers on the chart to what you have and recode it.

We got it close, and when we didn't have what we wanted, we just added the numbers to where we were at.

Got the codes for one touch lock/unlock and windows up/down with the remote handy?

I've got some of the other ones but those would be handydandy if yous gots them.

I'll hunt / peck until I figure it out - or just defer to those smahter than me (everyone). Now...

...my driveway? That's last years' pic taken when I'd just gotten Alumibitch and hadn't yet sold me UrS6. That went a month later, and now the Ur4kq will be going hopefully soon.

So, long as you can count to "3" you should be set (use your fingers if need be?). Or "2", even, once I put der TR3 back to my mom's garage up the road for winters' nap.

Tho, any given day will see one of my inlaws' MB's there - the '92 300E 4Matic is there now that I recently got them into.

It's kinda funny, you should see holidays / parties at our place - it's like being in Europe. All Volvo's, Saab's, and MB's - and my dumb Audi's - in the family (mostly older school). Neighbors think I'm running a used car lot, and don't quite "get it" with all the Euros...
