Updated the RNS-E with new maps/software
The updated maps have come out....but there is also an update to the software. Before the latest U.S. version was 0200, now it's 0260.
What does it do? It adds more details of certain areas in the mapping department, it removes the ability to use the monitor as a TV, but you can now add an AUX input for an iPod or anything like that.
I will have to get a factory connector and wires and plug it in, then hook those into some kind of aux input or cable.
However, the center DIS still does not show active navigation route directions......which I was hoping there was a small chance it would.

I was all hot for the TV option on my Nav Plus until someone posted about the digital conversion
next year which'll probably make them obsolete.
I assume all the TV tuners are analog, don't you think?

Who knows?
The guys on navplus.us already figured out how to keep most of the new software and still have it rolled back so they can keep the TV/Video option.
They have made a hybrid software package.
Me, I'll never watch TV in my car....or that's what I say now.

Only watch it at high rates of speed, so when you get pulled over you can say you were distracted.
By the BOOB tube. 
This will only work if you're not driving w/ a hottie in the passenger seat, which in your case is extremely uncommon.

RNS-E units for the C5 are getting hard to find...
...but definitely a nice addition if you can find one!
I have not upgraded my software to the US260 becuase it will disable the video input. I like having the ability to watch DVD movies (via external DVD player).
