Guys I'm just curious, is anyone running any after market exhaust on there A8. I have read a few guys with the S8's running aftermarket exhaust but have not read any with the 4.2L. If you are what if any input do you have on them, make, Performance, sound, Torque, ect. I'm really curious to see if some people are. Thanks for any input.

Just a update. I did end up. Going with an aftermarket exhaust. I ended up with the Magnaflow PART #16492 . I have the Magnaflow on my corvette C6 PART# 15884. Sounds good to me and never had any issue ( a little bit loud but good at highway speeds no drone). So seeing they have a life time warranty and make exhaust for most Audi modes, and way cheaper that the European Exhaust maker $1700+ and I got it at a great deal too better than list. I when with it. So far I like it not too loud, nice Deep Tone, Fit and finish was excellent (super easy to install), as good as OEM fitment. They use the same exhaust set- up as OEM, Cross-over, though a resonator, through two muffler. The Tubing O.D. Size: 2.5in,Her are some pic's, from my phone.

Sorry I'm keep the stocker for now, but what you see in the top picture is one unit, held in by 4 hangers. That's what makes it so simple. I'm curious why you would need "the driver side from behind the cat all the way out"?
