Another TPMS issue...how to enable?
Ok I have seen several posts on how to disable the TPMS, but how do I enable it? While at dealer once they must have saw batteries were shot so now it is grayed out in the MMI. I am about to get new tires and might as well replace the sensors while doing this, so I need to turn it back on. The fuse is in there. In VCDS my code is currently 0212127, what does it have to be to enable it? Thanks

Ok, tried to recode it and it said coding rejected. Then checked my fault codes and found that a fault code under the module for "system turned off". How do I turn this back on? Through hidden menu? I never accessed the hidden menu, can I mess anything up by accessing it? Now after driving for about 10 min malfunction indicator light on dash came on but option still greyed out in MMI. Then changed coding to 0202127 and indicator gone, option still greyed out.

You're gonna have to help me with that one....not sure how to check it on in gateway, please explain or PM if you would. Greatly appreciated so I can get this thing working again.

something isn't adding up here. original post showed 3rd character in string to be a 1. assuming us car, for disable shouldn't this be a 0? to re-enable it should be a 3.
i disabled mine while waiting on new sensors, and didn't have to alter anything in the CAN gateway.

You most likely do not have to do anything in the CAN gateway, just check to make sure it is checked ON. Not sure about the 1 or 3, 1 is for ROW (Rest of World) and 3 is for NAR (North America Region, depends where you live and how car is setup.
