I thought I post this for newbies like me.
On the weekend I replaced the module (the carpet adventure)but only the radio worked properly.(no cutting in and out).My phone could not find the Audi BT.
Today I decided to take a chance and recode it using the values you see in the picture, except for the equipment manufacturer which I had to change to 12345.The values I had there were out of range actually and apparently the number that refers to the equipment manufacturer has no bearing on the functionality.The moral of the story is to recode after swapping the module.
At least it worked for me.I just cancelled my dealer appt. Thank God.Expensive for doing not that much.
I took a chance on the BT module being bad but I figured the diagnosis costs more than the module so I went ahead and bought it anyway. Misha
and others suggested that the BT is bad and sure enough it was.
