Charging problem
So my 2007 a8 4.2 has been having charging problems and I’ve made some post about it before, I replaced both battery and alternator but have not got the car coded yet, the shop said I should check what the little wire is reading that plugs into the alternator, I was seeing if anyone knows what the voltage reading should be while the key is off, on, and running

If you put a battery and didnt code it you may kill the new battery and you'll keep having problems for eternity. Code it now. How was the big power wire going to the starter and alternator? Voltage varies depending on SOC of battery.
