Cleaning Engine
My engine has more grime than I like on it and I want to clean it. Are the engine degreasers that come in the spray can safe to use on the 5.2 engine (2008 S8). I have used them on other cars in the past with no issues. This is such a beautiful engine I just want to make sure I don't do anything to hurt it. I had planned to use the degreaser and a light brush to get it back to new looking.
What do people here use.

Generally that is what car detailer's use. Unfortunately last time I did that on my girlfriends 02 sebring, it helped the distributor call it quits. I would be leery doing it myself, but it should be fine.
