EPC light
Electronic Power Control light on while driving. Before I take it in, anyone experience this? Cause? (How many dollar signs does EPC represent?) 2009 A8 (not an L)

Well I heard it has something to do with the electronic throttle so if it is then you have some fault with that. Do you have VAGCOM to scan for codes??

Nope, no VAGCOM here. Throttle seems OK; car drives fine. Latest is that the light has disappeared again. Will revive the post if it happens again. (Let's hope not!) Maybe have the dealer check it out when I have winters mounted in about a month, if no issues before then.

Could be just a fluke. If I were you if you are mechanically savvy and you don't mind working on german vehicles, I would invest in a vagcom cable. Especially for checking something like that. Please do report back when it comes on and I can try to point you in the right direction.
