Interested in replacing the stock exhaust on my 2007 S8 with something that has a little more growl. Was leaning towards Milltek's resonated cat-back but I understand they are NLA. If so, was there a quality issue with them, or is it simply an economics decision given our cars are getting older thus less demand for new replacement exhausts?

In any case, what are people's opinions for similar options? I do not want something loud, but just want to be able to hear the V10 rumble.

In the meantime, has anyone tried the zip-tie mod where you open up the butterfly flaps on the interior pipes? Does the sound quality improve enough to offset the small power loss resulting from less backpressure?

Magnaflow I think is another option but not my favorite based on past experience.

Anyone with a Milltek that wants to go back to stock let me know...
