No lawyer screen at startup (still shows if you try to enter text while the car is moving).
Presets accessible from left steering scroll wheel on driver display.
More stable (at least on my 04 -- has not crashed yet since the update)
Some improvements in saving / moving presets
RDS information doesn't show in driver screen.
There may be others I'm forgetting. It's worth it to get rid of the lawyer screen alone IMHO.

I was hoping that it would be a feature for me to leave the fog lights on while the parking lights are on. I know they started doing it on the 05 models. I dont know if I am doing something wrong. Any help with that would be appreciated. And I dont even have daytime running light either. I thought it was standard on US models in 04.

You also need the current rev if you want to ever upgrade to the AMI (ipod) interface.
And lots of postings suggesting supposed compatibility problems with newer Navteq disks, but I don't know that first hand since I got the current rev for a 2006 as soon as it came out and I had learned the magic TSB words: "I lost my surround sound settings overnight."

What do you mean with the running lights? I do not have daytime running lights. The fog lights come on when the headlights come on but not with the parking lights. I will ask about when I go back to the dealer that close to me. I ask about the fog light feature at riverside audi and the guy didnt know what I was talking about. I showed him on a newer A8 and he said that it probably wasnt available on my year.

Yeah I went under them settings cause the manual says it should be there but it not. Thats where I saw that the daytime running lights are standard on US models.
