RIMS AND TIRES
I was wondering if anyone is running 19X9.5" vs the 19X8.5" rims on their A8. If so what size tires are you running and have you had any clearance issues. Pics would be great thanks.

I have 11 spoke 19" wheels 8.5JET45. I am running 275/40/19 Micheline Pilot Sport A/S plus. I haven't had any clearance issues.
If your offset is incorrect, then you may have a clearance issue, but A8 can handle 275 wide (usulaly comes standard on 20" wheels).

Actually, the 20's come with 265 35's from the factory.

265/35-20's only on S8; 275/35-20's on W12 and A8 w/ Sport 20 option...
it's the 265 that is the unusual one. Some S8's may have been shipped w/ 275's too. And when you go to the specs on the most common Yoko OEM fitment, turns out the 265 and 275 actually had the same on the road tread width; they just shortened the sidewall.
275 is the more common size on the 9" OEM 20's, and the car tire pressure sticker includes that ftment (plus 255/40 19's and 255/45 18's). 275/35 20 is also better at reducing the speedo error--27.7" diameter vs. 27.3 for 265/35 20, and about 27.0 for the 255 OEM fitments on the smaller wheels.

I am thinkin of getting the Forgestar F14 19X9 and putting the 275-40-19's on them. Anyone got any pics of something similar or that size tire on a 19 rim. Thanks for all the input
