S8 Interior preferences
Thanks
The black headliner is very menacing and sporty. Don't forget that an all black car will get very hot if you are in AZ or FL, but it will look great when clean. The all black interior will also feel less open as opposed to a lighter interior (which I personally like), but others may prefer a more open feel with lighter headliner or lighter interior all together.
I think it's got to be Black/Black or Black/Silver/Black but be warned, the Silver is very light and needs weekly cleaning to keep it in top condition - and I mean weekly!
The contrasting stitching shows up so much beter on Black. In all honesty, the stitching almost gets lost on the Silver/Gray.
If I was placing my order today, I would go full leather. The cost is not that great and the car loses the very slight "plasticy" feel with the regular dash.
It's all personal taste and you are going to adore the car no matter wht you do.
Oh, for what it's worth, choose the B&O - you won't be disappointed
Since my last 6 cars have had black interiors, I wonder about a change, but I appreciate your comment about the plastic feel of the light interior.
As for night blue, I don't know. I've always like Deep Blue as a color but I don't know the reaction of others and it may suffer a little on resale - not as popular as Black (Brilliant or Phantom) and not as easy to keep clean as the Gray.
You are dropping a lot of notes on the ar so don't be tempted by what the dealer happens to have on hand.
