V10 Superchagred S8 at WF...

Did you see this with your own eyes? No tuner has developed a supercharger for the V10...
To the best of my knowledge. Not MTM, not Motodyne, or Abt. Motodyne offers a cylinder port package for $15,500 that adds 90hp to the S8, but it's like open heart surgery- 50/50 chance your car won't **** the bed. MTM has exhaust and speed limiter removal through ECU mapping. That's about it for the S8.
I got a 08 S8, so if you've seen this with your own eyes, please give us all further details, I'd be very interested in that and I'm sure a lot of AWers would too.

I've built a lot of engines over the years
and I can't imagine what on earth can be done to a stock normally aspirated engine that could give it 90hp with porting.
If Audi's heads are so restrictive they'd do it themselves. Even with Port and Polish, upgraded Cams, a new intake, ECM changes etc, I don't see more than 30hp.
I call B.S. on that one.

I talked to ROB at MOTORDYNE
He made just enough sense to be slightly believable, but then some red flags were raised.
He claimed V10 SC was making 795 WHEEL hp, and 810 lb torque, at the wheels. I asked him what kind of dyno that was and he said he "didnt remember".
That sounds suspect. He would be better served if he claimed 450-500 WHP, which even that is high. These cars make 315-320 stock on a mustang dyno.
He wants $27,000 for his superchager kit, installed, which includes new rods and pistons. He said the stock audi rods and pistons "belong in a lawnmower". They are that poor.
He said he has a couple V10 S8s he is wrapping up now, and I asked to go down to NJ to see them. I'll drive them and check em out, talk to other customers, etc. Any customers of his on here?
